My phone has loud static noise, what can I do to resolve this issue?

If you are hearing noise on your telephone handset, this can be due to interference on the line caused by an internal or external disturbance.

In order to eliminate any internal issue, it is recommended to try using a different handset and ensure it is properly connected to the wall socket.

If you still hear lot of noise, then perform an isolation test by disconnecting all devices attached to the telephone phone socket such as a modem, fax machine, Foxtel, alarm system, or any other device.

If this still fails, please contact support and advise them of the issue so a fault can be reported, and a technician arranged to investigate if required.
